
BIOGRAPHY
Rosie Wilson is a Glasgow-based composer. She writes music for film and live performance, in a range of genres including contemporary classical, tango and jazz, and has composed pieces for orchestras, big bands, scores for films and audio plays, and multi-channel sonic and audiovisual works.
Her most recent projects include creating the music for short films The Queen's Speech, commissioned by the GMAC Little Pictures scheme, Against the Current, which featured in FANS Film Festival, and Pink and Blue, produced by all-female film collective GILR, as well as scoring Baker Street Productions' series of audio plays, Spaces.
Rosie grew up in Oxford, and moved to Scotland in 2014. She completed a Master's degree in Composition and Creative Practice at the University of Glasgow in 2020. Rosie is also a keen musician, playing the violin and the trumpet in a number of ensembles.
